Description

The FabFilter Pro-C 3 is a sophisticated dynamics processor that brings a wealth of new tools and sonic options to the mixing and mastering workflow. With 14 compression algorithms, including six newly developed styles such as Versatile, Smooth, Upward, TTM, Op-El, and Vari-Mu, this plug-in adapts to a wide variety of material. Each style has its own unique response, from subtle gluing to creative multi-band compression, giving users refined control over dynamic shaping.

Pro-C 3 also features a redesigned Character panel, offering three types of analog saturation: Tube, Diode, and Bright. These can be applied before or after compression, adding color and warmth to the signal. The improved Side Chain EQ now supports up to six fully customizable bands with additional filter shapes, including Brickwall high-pass and low-pass options. Additional highlights include full compatibility with immersive audio formats like Dolby Atmos® up to 9.1.6, host tempo-triggered compression, automatic threshold adjustment for dynamic consistency, and seamless integration with FabFilter’s Instance List for centralized plug-in control.
