Description

The REQ-2.2 Mastering Equalizer is a high-end stereo parametric EQ designed for precision work where detail, depth, and musicality matter most. Built around inductor-based circuitry, it delivers the unmistakable openness and smoothness associated with classic choke EQ designs, while offering a level of control and flexibility that suits modern mastering workflows. Its sound remains clear and natural even with significant adjustments, making it ideal for refining mixes without compromising their integrity.

Each channel features four fully adjustable bands with a wide selection of frequency points and variable bandwidth, allowing for highly targeted shaping or broader tonal sculpting. The design uses parallel resonant circuits to achieve this flexibility while maintaining a clean signal path, resulting in a sound that feels both detailed and cohesive. Additional features like a high-pass filter and a selectable saturation stage provide further control, letting you subtly tighten the low end or introduce harmonic character when needed.

The REQ-2.2 is also designed with usability in mind, offering a clear layout and precise, stepped controls that make repeatable adjustments straightforward. With flexible connectivity options and the ability to link channels for stereo operation, it integrates easily into mastering environments. Combining refined analog tone with thoughtful control, it serves as a powerful tool for shaping final mixes with confidence and nuance.
