Description

The SGI Stereo set from Radial Engineering is a professional-grade stereo instrument line driver system created for musicians and engineers who need clean, reliable signal transmission over long distances. It includes two main components: the SGI Stereo TX (transmitter) and SGI Stereo RX (receiver). Working together, these units allow you to send stereo instrument signals as far as 100 meters (300 feet) using a single standard Cat5 Ethernet cable. This setup eliminates the need for XLR cabling and helps preserve the natural tone of your instrument without adding noise or signal degradation.

Designed for both stage and studio use, the system supports complex routing and remote amp setups with minimal hassle. In a studio setting, it lets you play from the control room while hearing exactly what’s being captured through your monitors. On stage, it solves common problems caused by long cable runs, such as signal loss and interference from lighting systems. For added convenience, the RX unit includes left/right thru outputs for local amp feeds, ground lift switches to reduce hum, and a polarity reverse function to address phase issues with amplifiers. This set offers a streamlined, high-quality solution for stereo pedalboards, amp modelers, and remote amp applications.

Features

Stereo Signal Extension
Transmits two unbalanced instrument signals (like from a stereo pedalboard) over long distances without noise or loss.

Studio and Stage Ready
Lets guitarists stay in the control room or play on large stages while keeping tone clear and natural.

Single Cable Transmission
Uses just one standard Cat5 Ethernet cable to send stereo audio signals up to 300 feet.

No Ground Hum
Built-in ground lift and polarity switch help eliminate hum and phase issues with amps.

High-Quality Sound
Equipped with premium Jensen transformers to preserve tone quality throughout the signal chain.

Simple Setup
Connects easily with standard ¼” jacks and locking RJ45 ports; no XLRs required.

Flexible Power Options
Runs on any standard power supply from 9V to 18V and includes a 15V supply.

Connect Multiple Zones
Ideal for routing signals between multiple amp zones, isolation cabinets, or remote rooms.
