Made from aluminum and finished with a durable black coat, they're designed specifically to fit into your rack for a square, clean aesthetic. Previous model lunchboxes will not list "HC" in the serial number.

Great!
Just installed this today and it worked out great. Instructions were very well laid out and once installed the rack ears seem very strong and can support the weight with no issues. Overall very impressed. Would have given it a perfect score but it does seem a bit overpriced for what it is. Lire plus
Otherwise great if you need to rack mount your lunchbox!

API 500-6B Lunch Box Ears
They get the job done and look good! BUT many screws were missing on arrival, the instructions used pictures of the HC version of this lunchbox which isn't a big deal but did not instill confidence, and for the price I would have expected much more robust feeling front plates. Lire plus
Any other complaints would be related to the unusual difficulty of the installation BUT I don't think it's worth mentioning as this model of lunchbox obviously was built to be portable and the rack ears must have been an addition down the road due to demand (I'm assuming).
