d:dicate 2006A Stereo Pair with Clips and Windscreens in Peli Case

These mics are ideal for use with orchestra, acoustic piano, guitar, wind instruments and choirs.

This condenser mic bridges the gap between the extreme sound quality of the d:dicate? Microphones series and our well-known Miniature Microphones in the d:screet? series.

The microphone capsule
Inside this capsule, two opposite-facing miniature capsules are custom rebuilt. They are placed into a double-diaphragm, one-capsule composition. This combines the advantages of small capsules with the lower inherent noise achieved from a larger diaphragm area. These capsules provide fast impulse response and large frequency bandwidth.

The capsules are loaded to the supreme d:dicate? Microphone series preamplifiers instead of the tiny miniature FET ones. This gives the sound more air and precision.

Comparisons with its big brother, the iconic MMC4006 capsule, are inevitable. The relationship between the two can be clearly heard. The MMC2000 series performs as well as more exclusive microphones. It is a premium-class mic capsule and redefines the term value for money.

A truly flexible range
The d:dicate? 2006A Twin Diaphragm Omni Microphone is part of the flexible d:dicate? Microphone series. It combines the MMC2006 Twin Diaphragm Cardioid Capsule, with the MMP-A preamplifier. This combination is for the true audiophile. It offers low distortion and totally accurate and faithful sound.

Another option, the d:dicate? 2006C Twin Diaphragm Cardioid Microphone, Compact offers a subtle character alteration with a bit more "body" to the low end than the d:dicate? 2006A Twin Diaphragm Cardioid Microphone.

At any time, and with no tools needed, it is possible to transform the d:dicate? 2006A Twin Diaphragm Cardioid Microphone into a new configuration. You can combine it with another d:dicate? or d:facto? Microphone Capsule or Preamplifier.
