The micKing 3300 covers the entire spectrum of mic applications, shining primarily in the choral and orchestral world which often necessitate long reach both horizontally and vertically. With a mast at 10 feet and a boom at 10 feet as well, they are capable of combining to an impressive 20 foot height in its vertical configuration. Yet with these long lengths both the boom and mast are capable of compacting down to nearly 3 feet! Latch Lake 3300

I use the Latch Lake 3300 for recording live choral/orchestral performances. I typically hang a Decca-ish tree 3-4 meters up and just behind the conductor. The 3300 has a relatively unobtrusive profile while being totally reliable, stable and flexible. Read more

Simply the best!

I cannot find anything to discount the Latch Lake design, build, or fit and finish of the Mic King. I just used the 3300 (black, low vis) at a choral session last night and won't leave home without it from now on! I hung an AEA R88 and a pair of schoeps in wide NOS -- on one stand! This allowed a long dreamed placement not possible without flying rigging lines and hangers. Read more
