Low noise floor, wide frequency range, high SPL handling, variable polar patterns, brass body, dual custom transformers, German capsule
The M1 is a new tube microphone. A whole new circuit design inspired by the vintage greats. Designed by Andrew Myburgh, Andreas Grosser and Eckehard Dux.
Caractéristiques
amplifier & transformers
The M1's amplifier has an incredible linear frequency response with minimal cut off below 30Hz or over 20kHz. With two custom built transformers; one in the mic and another in the power supply, the amplifier design, combined with the German made capsule and the new capsule headbasket design give the M1 its unique sound.

noise floor, output & SPL
The M1 also has a super low noise floor, a monster output and handles SPL like your favourite FET kick drum mic does. Variable polar patterns and true cardioid is a main feature.
unprecedented build quality
Largely made of brass, the M1's build quality is unprecedented. All metalwork is custom designed and manufactured. The mechanical lifespan of the M1 is intended to last far beyond the typical modern day microphone. Built to last a few lifetimes infact.
