The best
Rycote studio mic suspension mounts are by far the best you can use. They isolate from vibration much better than typical suspension cages, and their convenient integrated foam pop screen is the best type I've ever tried... seems totally transparent, does not cut high end while stopping almost all plosives. Lire plus
You pay more for Rycote but it's more than worth it. I now own 7 Rycote mounts for LDC and SDC mics, and 4 pop screens.

Rycote USM-L
Used on a vintage AKG C-12A. Holds the mic very solidly, and no concerns about having the mic upside down in the mount. Really great design. I'm not so sure about the pop filter yet - seems to muffle the sound a bit too much, but it's a good addition without attaching one to the stand, Lire plus
