A Stereo Set of matched MK 21 (Wide Cardioid) capsules delivered with CMC 6Ug bodies, windscreens, stand adapters and a wooden case.
SCHOEPS offers pairs of our best-selling "Colette"-series microphones in sets. Each wooden case contains two complete microphones with selected, matched capsules, SG 20 stand adapters, B 5 D windscreens and in most cases, CMC 6 analog microphone amplifiers.
The part of each stand adapter that holds the microphone is made of soft plastic, while the base is metal. The foam windscreens have an inner construction which makes them considerably more effective than typical windscreens of their size, while their surface treatment lends them a "high-class" appearance.
This type of capsule has a directional pattern between omni and cardioid. The basic idea in designing this capsule was to combine the advantages of the cardioid with those of the omni. This results in a pickup pattern which blends the two sets of characteristics. It has fuller and more extended low-frequency response than a cardioid, with less proximity effect, while picking up more room sound than a cardioid.
The polar diagram shows the directivity of the MK 21 to be only slightly dependent on frequency. This contrasts with omnidirectional capsules, whose directivity increases with rising frequency, and with cardioids (at least smaller ones), which tend to accentuate high frequencies that arrive at oblique angles.

Incomparable
Depuis très longtemps je gardais espoir que mon budget me permette ces bijoux de micros, c'est fait ! et la satisfaction est totale. Les résultats obtenus à ce jour sur un choeur vocal mais surtout sur un excellent piano ont surpassé mes attentes.
Read moreLe piano est à mes oreilles très complet et complexe au niveau des sonorités, juste à entendre la sortie des preamp sur une paire d'écouteurs de contrôle et j'ai immédiatement eu un choc, l'équilibre et la richesse était au rendez-vous. Merci Louis d'avoir relativisé l'enjeu des pattern de cartouches ;-)
