Solid indoor (and sometimes outdoor) mic
This is a great and tough mic! Of course it lacks the warmth of a Neumann or the all-round goodness of a Schoeps, but for the price these can't be beat. Super flat response, a forgiving pickup pattern and can be planted anywhere on account of its small size. Lire plus
It might perhaps fit awkwardly in a mount because of its square edges, but I made it work in a Rycote Cyclone without any mods. Pairs well with a Rycote Baseball on the end to muffle those boom swings.
