The Musician Plugin turns the MixPre-6 into a powerful yet portable music studio, designed to make multi-track recording simple and intuitive for songwriters and performers. With the plugin enabled, the MixPre-6 can record up to 12 total tracks, with six tracks simultaneously, offering plenty of flexibility for layering instruments or capturing live sessions.
Musicians can take advantage of overdubbing, track bouncing, and punch in/out recording, while cue markers make navigation effortless. Add polish with onboard Reverb and Vocal Air effects, and stay in rhythm with the configurable metronome. The plugin also supports input-to-track routing, minimizing the need for repatching, and allows real-time mixing with faders, panning, solos, mutes, and effects. When complete, projects can be rendered/exported or you can import multichannel WAVs from a DAW for backing tracks or collaborative workflows.
