The Zaxcom PFP-7 is a compact and lightweight fader expansion panel designed specifically for the Nova and Nova 2 mixer/recorders. Featuring seven smooth-action potentiometer faders with physical end stops, the FP7 brings traditional fader feel and functionality to your digital workflow. These faders can control any analog or digital input, seamlessly complementing the existing five endless rotary faders on the Nova or Nova 2-giving users a total of 12 hardware fader controls. Each fader is also paired with its own PFL (Pre-Fade Listen) button, making channel monitoring fast and intuitive.
Connecting the FP7 is a simple, tool-aided process using a USB-A to RS422 cable and secured mounting hardware, ensuring a stable setup for field or studio use. Its thoughtful design includes a passthrough RS422 port, enabling simultaneous use of accessories like the Nova Touch software interface. A rear USB-A port provides additional connectivity for keyboards or updates. Powered via a 4-pin 12 V Hirose input with low current draw, the FP7 is engineered for efficiency and reliability in demanding audio production environments.
