DPA Microphones brings more than sixty years of Danish microphone design experience. The company develops microphones known for consistency, durability, and precise sound reproduction, serving professional applications such as live sound, theatre, film production, and fixed installations. Its product range focuses on condenser microphone technology used in demanding environments where reliability and repeatable performance are required.

Wisycom, based in Italy, specializes in wireless audio and RF solutions. The company designs and manufactures wideband wireless systems used in broadcast, live events, corporate production, and location sound. Its portfolio addresses complex RF environments through features such as frequency agility, networked control, and compatibility across international frequency bands.

Austrian Audio, headquartered in Vienna, designs microphones, headphones, and audio tools with a focus on studio, live, and content creation applications. The brand draws on long-standing expertise in acoustical engineering and manufacturing, delivering products built for professional workflows while maintaining ties to its historical engineering background.

Following completion, DPA Microphones, Wisycom, and Austrian Audio will join Audiotonix’s existing group of audio technology companies, which includes Allen & Heath, Solid State Logic, Sound Devices, Harrison and others. The acquisition aligns microphone and wireless system development more closely with Audiotonix’s current strengths in recording, mixing, and live sound technologies.

According to Audiotonix leadership, the combination of wireless audio, microphone design, and recording technologies is intended to support future product development across live sound, broadcast, and location sound markets. Executives from DPA Microphones have also highlighted the shared customer base across the brands and the potential for deeper technical collaboration within the group.
