The EQM500 is a meticulously crafted 500-series passive equalizer that brings classic analog tone shaping into modern workflows with precision and musicality. Drawing its inspiration from the legendary designs of the 1950s particularly the iconic Pultec EQ the EQM500 embraces simplicity, tone, and warmth. It's built to add body, presence, and subtle contouring to everything from vocals to grouped instrument tracks, making it an ideal tool for both mixing and mastering engineers who value character and control.

Housed in a single-slot 500-series format, the EQM500 features three frequency bands LOW, MID, and HIGH, each powered by high-precision LC resonant circuits using 1% tolerance inductors from UTM Industry. Frequency selection is handled via stepped Grayhill switches, ensuring recallable, reliable adjustments. The LOW and HIGH bands each offer six boost frequencies, while the MID band offers twelve attenuation points between 200 Hz and 7 kHz, ideal for taming boxy resonances or bringing clarity to a crowded mix. Transformer-balanced input and output stages also from UTM ensure that every adjustment is smooth, musical, and full of analog depth.

With +22 dBu max output, 18 dB of headroom, and ultra-low distortion (THD+N of just 0.012%), the EQM500 provides the sonic finesse required in high-end audio environments, whether you’re enhancing individual instruments or rounding out final mix elements. The result is a tool that adds warmth, punch, and presence without sounding clinical, helping you shape sound with confidence and style.
