Description
Description
The Rupert Neve Designs Mix Bus Bundle Master Bus Transformer + 5057 Orbit Bundle brings analog summing and detailed stereo mix processing together in one powerful signal chain. The 5057 Orbit provides 16 channels of Class-A analog summing through custom Rupert Neve Designs transformer-coupled outputs, with selectable Red and Blue Silk modes and variable Texture for adding transformer saturation to the final mix. Its accurate stepped output trim, mono summing options for the first eight channels, and simultaneous Main and -6 dB outputs make it a flexible centerpiece for hybrid mixing setups.
After summing through the Orbit, the Master Bus Transformer (MBT) gives you extensive control over the stereo mix with a variable high-pass filter, two-band shelf EQ, Color Comp optical compressor, stereo Width processing, Super Silk harmonic controls, and Zener Drive soft clipping. Independent Blue and Red Silk controls let you shape low- and high-frequency transformer coloration, while the Harmonics control adjusts the overall amount of transformer character. Input and output trims make it possible to drive the different processing stages creatively while maintaining control of the final level.
Together, the 5057 Orbit and MBT form a complete analog mix-bus system for taking multiple DAW outputs through Class-A summing and then shaping the resulting stereo mix with compression, EQ, width, saturation, and transformer coloration. The combination can move from clean, open summing to more pronounced harmonic character, giving engineers a hands-on way to shape depth, punch, stereo image, and tonal color before returning the finished mix to the digital domain.
