Description

The Genelec 4435AWR Smart IP Active In-Ceiling Speaker combines premium networked audio performance with a clean white round grille design for discreet and elegant ceiling integration. Designed for modern commercial and residential AV installations, the 4435AWR delivers clear, detailed sound while blending naturally into conference rooms, hospitality venues, retail spaces, educational environments, and upscale living areas. Its low-profile round grille creates a refined appearance that minimizes visual impact while maintaining excellent acoustic performance.

Built around Genelec’s Smart IP platform, the 4435AWR delivers audio, power, and loudspeaker management through a single standard CAT cable using PoE connectivity. Compatibility with Dante and AES67 audio streams allows seamless integration into professional audio-over-IP systems, while Smart IP Manager software provides installers with advanced tools for room equalization, zoning, device monitoring, and system organization. Support for third-party automation systems through a public API also enables simplified control within larger AV infrastructures.

The 4435AWR features dual 50 W Class D amplifiers powering a 130 mm woofer and 19 mm metal dome tweeter to deliver balanced sound with excellent speech intelligibility and wide dispersion. Its active two-way design eliminates the need for external amplifier racks while maintaining high-performance audio reproduction with output capabilities up to 104 dB SPL. The magnetically attached round grille and simple latch mounting system allow for clean installation and convenient servicing, while Genelec’s durable construction and sustainable Finnish manufacturing help ensure long-term reliability in demanding installed audio applications.
