Description

The AudioRoot DYAD-CT-U is a passive, dual-input power combining cable purpose-built for compact and mobile audio setups that require redundant power without telemetry. With one battery cup input, one TA4M input, and a USB-C output, this cable is ideal for scenarios where reliable DC power delivery is needed but smart battery communication isn't required.

Perfect for hot-swapping between battery and external DC (such as AC adapters), the DYAD-CT-U offers peace of mind during long productions or field work. Its passive design means it simply merges available voltage sources without any SMBus data handling which makes it highly compatible with Audioroot vmDBOX systems and non-telemetry third-party distributors.

The USB-C output is particularly well-suited for modern gear that accepts USB-C power, such as select recorders, wireless receivers, or mobile power banks. When used with a PPS-compatible USB-C PD adapter, the DYAD-CT-U allows you to run equipment directly from AC power, with a battery backup ready to take over if needed.
