Description

CEDAR I-ADH Auto Dehiss is an intelligent broadband noise reduction processor designed to remove hiss from recordings while preserving the natural character of the original audio. Created for audio restoration, remastering, post-production, broadcast, and archive work, it tackles common problems such as tape hiss and background broadband noise without the unwanted artefacts often associated with traditional dehissing tools. Its advanced processing is specifically engineered to minimise issues such as pumping, twittering, and the “underwater” sound that can occur with conventional noise reduction systems.

What sets I-ADH apart is its unique Auto mode, which automatically analyses the signal and determines the noise content without requiring the user to capture noise fingerprints or perform complex setup procedures. For engineers who need greater control, a Manual mode is also available, allowing fine adjustment of the detected noise level and reduction characteristics. Additional controls provide the flexibility to tailor processing for different types of broadband noise, helping to maintain clarity, ambience, and tonal balance while achieving effective hiss removal.
