Description

The Drawmer D-Clock-R is a rugged, professional-grade dual redundant word clock distribution amplifier, engineered for maximum reliability in mission-critical environments such as broadcast facilities, live venues, and studios. Building on the foundation of the original D-Clock, the D-Clock-R introduces full redundancy for both power and clock inputs, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in the event of a fault or power failure which makes it ideal for any application where stability is non-negotiable.

At its core, the D-Clock-R features two auto-sensing BNC clock inputs that accept either word clock or AES3id signals, automatically switching between the default and auxiliary sources as needed. It provides 16 re-buffered BNC outputs 12 on the rear panel and 4 on the front to distribute clock signals across complex digital setups with ease. The front panel includes a high-precision 16-character LCD display, offering three display modes: actual frequency, ±ppm error, and % pull-up/down, all with an accuracy of 2 ppm.

The dual internal universal-voltage power supplies work in parallel under normal conditions and offer instant automatic failover if one supply fails, guaranteeing seamless operation. With classic Drawmer build quality, a 1U rackmount form factor, and an aluminium front panel, the D-Clock-R delivers dependable, high-performance clock distribution in a compact, road- and studio-ready unit, designed and handmade in the UK for the highest standards of reliability and precision.
