The Neutrik NC5FXX-B is a professional 5-pole female XLR cable connector designed for reliable audio, lighting, and control signal connections. Part of Neutrik’s updated XX series, it builds on the well-known X series design with improvements that enhance durability, assembly efficiency, and contact reliability. The black metal housing and gold-plated contacts provide a robust and dependable connection solution for demanding professional environments.

Engineered for performance, the NC5FXX-B features a unique cage-style female contact that ensures low contact resistance and consistent signal integrity. A built-in solder barrier prevents solder from flowing into the mating area during assembly, helping maintain long-term connection quality. The connector also includes an improved solid metal latch that is larger and easier to handle, along with additional ground spring contacts that enhance shell grounding and overall connection stability.

The rugged zinc die-cast shell and ergonomic design make the connector durable while remaining comfortable to assemble and use. An improved chuck-style strain relief system increases pull-out resistance and simplifies cable assembly, while the polyurethane boot helps protect against cable bending stress. Supporting cable diameters from 3.5 to 8.0 mm and rated for over 1000 mating cycles, the NC5FXX-B is a dependable choice for professional cable builds requiring a high-quality 5-pin XLR connection.
