The PreSonus CDL12P Constant Directivity Loudspeaker brings professional-grade performance to portable and mobile sound reinforcement. Designed for touring bands, DJs, and installation professionals who demand consistency and clarity, the CDL12P combines a 12-inch woofer with eight 2-inch high-frequency drivers in a hybrid point-source/line-array configuration. This unique, patent-pending design ensures a tight 120 degree horizontal x 15 degree vertical dispersion with consistent SPL across the listening area - ideal for delivering clear speech and natural music reproduction in any venue.

Each CDL12P is bi-amplified with 500W for both the low and high-frequency sections, powered by efficient Class D amplifiers. A low crossover point of 420 Hz minimizes phase interference and comb filtering, making arrays of up to six CDL12Ps sound smooth and coherent across the entire frequency range. Onboard DSP presets streamline configuration, with options for array modes, subwoofer pairing (including CDL18s, ULT18, and AIR18s), and high-pass filtering. The lightweight, rugged plastic enclosure and integrated rigging hardware make it easy to deploy in flown or pole-mounted setups.

Whether used solo or in a stacked array, the CDL12P excels in mobile or fixed applications that require high-output, high-fidelity sound.
