Description

The DPA 4061 CORE+ (4061-OP-C-C34) is a professional-grade low-sensitivity omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed to deliver clean, natural sound in high-pressure environments such as film, broadcast, theater, and live performance. This version comes in a brown finish and is factory-terminated with a Lemo 3-pin adapter (C34), making it directly compatible with Zaxcom wireless transmitters such as the ZMT series, widely used in location sound and production audio workflows.

Featuring DPA’s acclaimed CORE+ technology, the 4061 delivers increased dynamic range and ultra-low distortion, maintaining transparent, intelligible audio up to 137 dB peak SPL with less than 1% THD. The microphone’s miniature 5.4 mm capsule is discreet and easily concealed in costumes or wardrobe, while its omnidirectional polar pattern ensures consistent pickup even when talent turns or moves. With an IP58 rating for moisture and dust resistance and a Kevlar-reinforced cable, the 4061 CORE+ is built to withstand the rigors of daily production use.

The mic includes two interchangeable boost grids: a Soft-Boost grid for a subtle 3 dB lift, and a High-Boost grid offering a more pronounced 10 dB presence bump which allows you to tailor the high frequencies based on placement location. Whether used for vocals, dialog, or instrument capture, the 4061 CORE+ with C34 adapter provides broadcast-quality performance in a compact, robust form factor trusted by audio professionals worldwide.
