The DPA 4166 CORE+ Omnidirectional Flex Headset Microphone (Black, 90 mm Boom, MicroLock) – model 4166-OP-F-B90-MH – is a premium, low-profile headset mic designed for clear, natural vocal capture in professional environments such as conferences, broadcast, theater, and live events. Built around DPA’s celebrated 4060-series capsule and enhanced with CORE+ technology, this mic offers a wide dynamic range with extremely low distortion, even at high sound pressure levels which makes it equally suited for speech and vocals.

With its 90 mm boom arm, this version provides a more compact fit ideal for smaller head sizes or users who prefer a closer, tighter mic position. The omnidirectional capsule ensures consistent sound capture regardless of head movement, while its subtle high-frequency boost enhances speech intelligibility without sounding harsh. The MicroLock connector offers a secure and modular interface, compatible with a wide range of professional wireless systems via optional adapters. Lightweight, unobtrusive, and fully adjustable for left or right ear placement, the 4166 headset is easy to fit, extremely comfortable, and built to perform under pressure. It also features IP58-certified moisture and dust resistance, ensuring durability in even the most demanding production environments.
