The NoiseAssist plugin for the Sound Devices 888 provides 2 real-time instances of advanced background noise suppression, ideal for productions where clean dialog is critical. Each instance can be applied to an isolated input channel, a bus, or a mix of both, giving mixers flexibility to address noise exactly where it's needed.

NoiseAssist uses proprietary multi-band frequency and statistical processing to intelligently separate speech from steady background noise such as HVAC, traffic, or crowd ambiance. With ultra-low 1 ms latency, it preserves the full frequency bandwidth and natural tone of the source while delivering transparent suppression.

Adjustable from 1"20 dB of noise reduction, NoiseAssist helps streamline fast-turnaround productions, live streaming, on-set monitoring, and IFB feeds by delivering broadcast-ready sound directly on location.

Real-time noise suppression removes background noise such as HVAC, traffic, or generators with only 1 ms latency for clean dialog on-location.

2 instances included, allowing you to apply NoiseAssist on any two isolated channels or mix buses, or a combination of both.

Optimized for film and TV dialog, keeping speech natural and clear while reducing noise and reverberation.

No setup or training required-automatically adapts to new noise environments in about 5"10 seconds.

Adjustable suppression strength from 1 dB to 20 dB (default 6 dB), so you can control how much noise reduction is applied.

Works with 8-Series firmware v7.20 or later.

Fully compatible with the 888's routing architecture, so you can record a "raw" track and a NoiseAssist-processed track simultaneously.

Can be used together with MixAssist or Dugan Automixer for the best results with multiple open microphones.

Supports use alongside the 888's low-cut filter and pre-fade EQ, without affecting processing quality.

Transparent audio quality-uses advanced multi-band frequency and statistical processing to distinguish speech from background noise.
