Description

The Schoeps A 20 S is a traditional elastic suspension for microphones of 20 mm diameter, such as the CMC 6. It is the variant of the A 20 with stiffer elastics.

The stiffer elastics are required when accessories such as the CUT 60, GVC or S 250 C are added to the CMC microphone. The microphone cable can be locked in place, which suits the A 20 S well, and the microphone angle can be varied.

Schoeps describes this classic design as best suited to applications with little structure-borne noise, such as studio work. For stronger isolation it points to the newer AC 20.

Features

Stiffer Elastics
The A 20 S uses stiffer elastics than the A 20. They are required when accessories such as the CUT 60, GVC or S 250 C are added to the CMC microphone.

Adjustable Microphone Angle
The angle of the microphone can be varied to aim it as needed.

Lockable Cable
