Description

The Audix ADX20i is a miniature condenser instrument microphone designed for professional stage and studio use, particularly for saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and other brass or reed instruments. Compact and lightweight, the ADX20i delivers clear and natural sound reproduction while remaining easy to position directly on the instrument. Its low-profile clip-on design allows performers to move freely without sacrificing consistent audio capture, making it well suited for live performance environments and wireless setups.

Featuring a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern, the ADX20i provides focused pickup and excellent feedback control while helping isolate the instrument from surrounding stage noise. The microphone captures instruments with impressive clarity and transient response, preserving the detail and dynamics of brass and woodwind performances even at close distances. A built-in rubber shock mount system helps reduce unwanted mechanical vibrations, while the included butterfly-style gooseneck clip securely mounts to the bell of the instrument for stable positioning during performances.

Designed for use with Audix wireless systems, the ADX20i can also be adapted for wired applications, offering flexibility across a variety of professional audio setups. Manufactured with durable components and assembled and tested in the USA, the ADX20i combines reliable construction, natural sound quality, and performer-friendly mounting for demanding live and recording applications.
