The Audix ADX40WHC is a miniature hanging condenser microphone designed for overhead sound reinforcement and ambient audio capture in professional performance and presentation environments. Featuring a hypercardioid polar pattern and a discreet white finish, the ADX40WHC is especially suited for choir performances, theatrical productions, orchestras, group vocals, and houses of worship where precise pickup control and low visual impact are important. Its lightweight, low-profile design allows it to blend naturally into ceilings and stage environments while capturing sound clearly from a distance.

The hypercardioid pickup pattern provides tighter sound isolation than standard cardioid designs, helping focus on the intended performance area while reducing unwanted ambient noise and stage bleed. With a smooth 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and excellent transient response, the ADX40WHC delivers natural, articulate sound reproduction for vocals, ensembles, and acoustic performances. Its overhead configuration makes it an effective solution for covering wider performance areas while maintaining clarity and balanced sound capture.

Supplied with a 30-foot shielded cable, wire hanger, external windscreen, and phantom power adapter, the ADX40WHC is ready for flexible installation in both permanent and portable setups. Manufactured with durable machined brass construction and designed for professional reliability, the ADX40WHC combines discreet appearance, focused audio pickup, and dependable performance for demanding live sound and installed audio applications.
