Description
The Schoeps AK Surround H M/4U divides the signals from a multi-pin miniature Binder socket connector (AES65 standard) to four XLR-3M plugs. It is used for ORTF Surround, ORTF-3D and ORTF-2plus2.
The H version adds a connector for heater powering via XLR-4, and an AC power supply is included. It delivers 13 Volts at 350 mA for the heater built in to the windscreen of the ORTF Surround or ORTF-3D system. A battery pack can be used instead of the AC power supply.
