Description

The Schoeps B 1 is a thin foam screen that slips over a 20 mm microphone capsule. It is a simple protective cover rather than a wind or pop solution.

It is especially suitable for protecting a capsule from rosin dust when the microphone is attached to a string instrument, for example with the VA 1 violin mount. It also works as hygiene protection.

Schoeps states that it is not an efficient pop filter, so choose one of the other Schoeps pop screens if plosives are the concern.

Features

Rosin Dust Protection
Keeps rosin dust away from the capsule when the microphone sits on a string instrument.

Hygiene Protection
Works as a thin hygiene cover for the capsule.

Thin Foam Construction
A thin foam screen that adds protection without being a pop filter.
