Description

The Brick Lane MC4 by Cranborne Audio is a 4-channel analog dynamics processor designed to offer detailed control across mono, stereo, and Mid/Side workflows. Housed in a 2U 19-inch rackmount chassis, it features Modal PWM architecture that supports six compression styles. These range from vintage-inspired smoothness to sharper, more assertive responses. Each channel includes its own compressor and noise gate, along with a dedicated saturation circuit that responds to the character of the signal for a more tailored result.

The unit supports a variety of configurations, including dual-band compression, de-essing with analogue lookahead, and series processing for more layered control. External gear can be integrated through insert points, while flexible sidechain routing allows each channel to be triggered independently or by other inputs. Remote control is possible via USB or Ethernet, with a DAW-integrated plugin for storing and recalling settings. A full-color display and LED-ring encoders provide real-time visual feedback, ensuring a clear view of all adjustments in both standalone and remote operation.
