Description

The CARD-2MADI-SO from Digital Audio Denmark is a powerful expansion module designed to bring flexible MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) connectivity to your audio routing system. With two bidirectional MADI ports, this card supports both optical and electrical (coaxial) SFP modules, making it adaptable to a wide range of professional studio and broadcast environments. Whether you're connecting over single-mode or multimode fiber, or via coaxial cables with HD-BNC connectors, the CARD-2MADI-SO delivers robust performance and high channel counts.

Each MADI port on the card can independently handle up to 64 input and 64 output channels at 48kHz, with support for sample rates up to 384kHz. The card offers independent sample rate conversion (SRC) on both inputs and outputs, giving engineers more control over clocking and synchronization. It supports both legacy SMUX and high-speed frame modes, accommodates 56 or 64-channel formats, and can sync to either the incoming MADI signal or the internal system clock. This makes it an ideal solution for managing complex digital audio workflows where compatibility and clocking flexibility are critical.
