Description

Schoeps CCM 4VP is a compact condenser microphone with a side-addressed cardioid capsule, designed for the very closest speech pickup, directly in front of the speaker’s mouth. It also works for music at close range, under 20 cm.

Its low-frequency rolloff is compensated by the proximity effect, so the response is flat for the speaker’s voice while sounds from greater distances are attenuated at low frequencies. As a result, background sounds are picked up less strongly than the person speaking, and the close pickup capsules give increased protection from plosive noise.

This is the standard L version, with a Lemo output.
