Description

The SCHOEPS CMC 1 KV is a miniature Colette microphone amplifier with a fixed cable that leaves the housing at the side. This version comes with a 2 m cable and an XLR-3M connector. It is a full alternative to the well-known CMC 6 and is compatible with all existing MK capsules and active Colette accessories.

Its magnetic back and the included magnetic accessories make it easy to mount on surfaces such as door frames, steel beams, windows and table tops. That makes the CMC 1 KV particularly suitable as a plant mic in film sound, or for any recording where the microphone needs to be discreetly hidden.

The CMC 1 KV is the shortest version of the CMC 1 and works from P48 or P12 phantom power. The SCHOEPS RFI Shield is built in.

Features

Side-Outgoing Fixed Cable
The cable is permanently attached and leaves the housing at the side. The standard version has a 2 m cable with an XLR-3M connector.

Magnetic Mounting
A magnetic back and the included magnetic accessories let you attach the microphone to many surfaces, such as door frames, steel beams, windows and table tops.

Plant Mic Use
It is particularly suitable as a plant mic in film sound and for recordings where the microphone needs to be discreetly hidden.

Compatible With the Colette System
It is a full alternative to the CMC 6 and works with all existing MK capsules and active Colette accessories.

Shortest CMC 1 Version
The CMC 1 KV is the shortest housing variant of the CMC 1.

RF Interference Protection
