Description

The Schoeps CMC 1 L Mono Set with MK 2 pairs the miniature CMC 1 L Colette amplifier, with its Lemo output, with the MK 2 omnidirectional capsule. The MK 2 has a linear frequency response at 0° (free-field equalized), so it can be placed in close proximity to the sound source.

The omni capsule gives a very natural sound for near-field recordings and is preferred for close-miking instruments. The CMC 1 L adds very high immunity from RF interference thanks to the Schoeps RFI Shield, and works on 48 V or 12 V phantom power.

Linear On-Axis Response
The MK 2 has a linear frequency response at 0° (free-field equalized), for placement in close proximity to the sound source.

Close Miking of Instruments
The MK 2 can be set up very close to the sound source without sounding too brilliant or harsh.

Miniature Lemo Amplifier
The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 U with a miniature Lemo output connector, and it is compatible with all available MK capsules.

RF Interference Immunity
Very high immunity from RF interference thanks to the Schoeps RFI Shield.

Flexible Phantom Powering
Operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power with very low current consumption.

Low Cut Filter
A 20 Hz low cut filter, 12dB/oct, is built into the amplifier.
