Description

This Schoeps Colette set pairs the MK 22 open cardioid capsule with the CMC 1 L, a miniature microphone amplifier with a Lemo output connector. The MK 22 has a pattern that lies between the classic cardioid and the wide cardioid, giving a fair amount of directivity together with very natural sound quality.

The CMC 1 L is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6, so the complete microphone suits applications where size and weight matter. It runs on 48 V or 12 V phantom power, draws very little current and has the Schoeps RFI Shield for high immunity from RF interference.

The open cardioid capsule is popular as a spot or soloist's microphone and as the mid microphone for M/S. Because it is a Colette microphone, the capsule can later be combined with other Colette amplifiers and active accessories.

Open Cardioid Pattern
The MK 22 sits between the classic cardioid and the wide cardioid. It gives a fair amount of directivity with very natural sound quality.
