Description

This Schoeps Colette set pairs the MK 41 supercardioid capsule with the CMC 1 L, a miniature microphone amplifier with a Lemo output connector. The MK 41 has high directivity that, at low and medium frequencies, is comparable to that of a shotgun microphone.

The CMC 1 L is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6, so the complete microphone suits applications where size and weight matter. It runs on 48 V or 12 V phantom power, draws very little current and has the Schoeps RFI Shield for high immunity from RF interference.

The MK 41 effectively attenuates diffuse sound energy and produces a clear, dry sound pickup, with a flat frequency response that stays largely the same for all directions of pickup. Preferred uses are recording dialogue for film sound and as a spot microphone in the orchestra and on the opera stage.

Features

Supercardioid Pattern
High directivity at low and medium frequencies, comparable to that of a shotgun microphone.

Natural Off-Axis Sound
The flat frequency response stays largely the same for all directions of pickup, which matters particularly for indoor recording.

Clear, Dry Pickup
The MK 41 effectively attenuates diffuse sound energy for a clear, dry sound.

Dialogue and Spot Use
Preferred uses are dialogue for film sound and spot miking in the orchestra and on the opera stage.

Miniature Lemo Amplifier
The CMC 1 L is the Lemo output version of the CMC 1 and is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6.

Phantom Power Flexibility
It operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power with very low current consumption.

RF Shielding
The Schoeps RFI Shield gives very high immunity from RF interference.

Clean Class-A Output
The balanced, direct-coupled, class-A output is filtered in the ultrasonic range to prevent interference, for example from camera autofocus.

Colette Compatibility
The amplifier is compatible with all available MK capsules and active Colette accessories.
