The Avid DB25-XLR M+F AES/EBU DigiSnake Cable (4 ft) is a professional digital audio breakout cable designed to connect external AES/EBU equipment to compatible Avid HD audio interfaces and peripherals. Engineered for seamless integration with systems such as the Avid 192 I/O and 96 I/O, this DigiSnake provides a reliable solution for routing digital audio signals between recording hardware, converters, digital processors, and Pro Tools-based studio environments.

Featuring a DB25 connector on one end and four XLR female plus four XLR male connectors on the other, the cable supports bidirectional AES/EBU digital audio connectivity in a compact and organized format. The cable is constructed using 110-ohm digital-grade wiring to maintain signal integrity and dependable data transmission. Custom color coding and clear labeling simplify installation and troubleshooting, with yellow-jacketed XLR female connectors and black-jacketed XLR male connectors designed specifically to match Avid and Pro Tools workflows.

At standard sample rates below 192 kHz, the DigiSnake can carry up to eight input and eight output channels of AES/EBU digital audio through its eight XLR connections. When used at 192 kHz with compatible Avid hardware operating in dual-wire mode, the cable supports four input and four output channels.
