The Nord Electro 7 HP is the flagship model of the Electro 7 series, built for musicians who need expressive piano playability without sacrificing portability. It features the 73-key Kawai Triple Sensor Hammer Action Portable (HP) keybed, offering an authentic acoustic piano feel in a lighter, gig-friendly chassis which is perfect for players who want weighted action for pianos but still demand the flexibility of Nord’s multi-engine platform.

At the core of the Electro 7 HP is a powerful new Synth Section supporting samples, analog waveforms, and FM synthesis. With features like dual envelopes, low-pass filter with resonance, unison, vibrato controls, and mono/legato/glide modes, this section offers rich sound design capabilities. The push encoder allows quick navigation by category and sound, streamlining the creative process both in studio and on stage.

The Organ Section uses the acclaimed Nord Organ 3 engine, delivering authentic simulations of B3, B3 Bass, Vox, Farfisa, Soft B3, and Pipe Organ tones. The Electro 7 HP also includes a dynamic Rotary Speaker emulation with three selectable mic positions, and physical drawbars with LEDs, giving tactile control and immediate visual feedback which is ideal for real-time performance and organ swells.

In the Piano Section, you have full access to the Nord Piano Library, paired with new enhancements like dynamic compression, unison, and category-based sound selection. The Electro 7 HP includes dedicated effects per section, a newly added Spring Reverb, updated Brit and Suitcase amp simulations, and global reverb with per-layer send which is designed to give you flexible, layered control over your sound.

With its refined panel layout, high-resolution color display, and Expression Pedal Assign for synth filter and effect control, the Electro 7 HP delivers a deeply expressive and professional experience.
