The Maag Audio EQ4M is a dual-channel, 6-band analogue mastering equalizer designed for precise tonal shaping with exceptional transparency and musicality. Inspired by the original NTI EQ3, it combines five fixed-frequency EQ bands with Maag Audio's signature AIR BAND, offering smooth, open high-frequency presence while preserving the natural character of the source material. Its unique circuit design minimizes phase shift, making it particularly effective for mastering and stereo bus processing.

The EQ4M provides five fixed-frequency bands covering everything from deep sub-bass to upper-midrange presence, alongside a selectable AIR BAND shelving boost ranging from 2.5 kHz to 40 kHz. Each band interacts musically with the others, allowing broad tonal adjustments while maintaining a cohesive sound. The transparent input attenuator helps compensate for added gain without changing the selected EQ curve, giving engineers greater control over overall levels.

Operating on ±18V power rails, the EQ4M delivers up to +29 dBu of headroom for demanding audio signals. Stepped, detented controls support precise and repeatable adjustments, while independent AIR BAND engagement and true channel bypass provide flexible comparison and processing options. Balanced XLR connections complete a straightforward mastering EQ designed for detailed tonal refinement.
