Description

The BSRF FA-1 Filtered Amplifier is a compact inline RF amplifier designed to improve wireless system performance in environments affected by interference and signal loss. By combining advanced filtering and amplification in a single device, it helps protect wireless receivers from unwanted RF noise while compensating for losses introduced by long coaxial cable runs. Ideal for professional audio, broadcast, live event, and wireless monitoring applications, the FA-1 is engineered to maximize signal integrity and system reliability. 

A key feature of the FA-1 is its filtering-before-amplification architecture, which reduces out-of-band interference from sources such as walkie-talkies, DECT systems, Wi-Fi networks, cellular communications, and intercom systems before signal gain is applied. Selectable amplification levels allow users to optimize system performance for different installation requirements, while the high-linearity amplifier design helps maintain clean signal handling. Available in multiple frequency ranges as well as custom configurations, the FA-1 can be tailored to suit a wide variety of wireless microphone and RF distribution systems. 

Designed with flexibility and reliability in mind, the FA-1 includes a fail-safe bypass mode that continues to pass signals through its filter even when external power is unavailable. Powered via DC feed through compatible antenna splitters or receivers, it also supports DC pass-through for specialized system configurations. Housed in a durable machined aluminum enclosure, the FA-1 provides a professional solution for users seeking cleaner RF performance, improved signal coverage, and enhanced wireless system stability.
