Description

The Neumann KH 310 II R is the right-channel version of Neumann’s three-way DSP-powered nearfield reference monitor, intended for critical mixing, editing, and mastering. Its 3-inch soft-dome midrange driver delivers exceptional clarity for vocals, dialogue, and instruments, while the sealed cabinet provides tight, time-accurate low-frequency reproduction with very low group delay. Tight production tolerances support ±0.6 dB linearity from 100 Hz to 10 kHz, helping produce precise imaging and reliable mix decisions.

A redesigned 525 W amplification platform powers the 8 1/4-inch woofer, 3-inch midrange driver, and 1-inch tweeter, providing lower distortion and increased output capability. The KH 310 II R offers a 33 Hz to 21 kHz free-field frequency response at ±3 dB and a calculated maximum SPL of 121.4 dB at 1 meter in half space at 3% THD. Analog XLR and digital AES3id BNC inputs support modern studio workflows, while integrated DSP is compatible with MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment for frequency and phase correction within the listening environment.

Its dimensions and form factor remain compatible with previous KH 310 installations, making the KH 310 II R suitable for upgrading the right side of an existing stereo system or for use in larger multichannel and immersive setups while retaining the familiar closed-box design and Neumann tonal character.
