Description

The Schoeps KMIT is the shotgun microphone capsule for the modular Colette series. It is derived directly from the CMIT series and inherits its high directivity combined with low coloration of sound arriving from the sides.

Its acoustical characteristics are identical to those of the CMIT 5 and MiniCMIT, so the three can be interchanged without altering the sound. The KMIT is compatible with all Colette-series amplifiers, so you can choose the amplifier that fits your setup, from the analog CMC 1 and CMC 6 to the digital CMD 42.

A steep, integrated low-cut filter allows unproblematic use on a boom, and the capsule is immune to moisture. This gray version is supplied with a W 140 foam windscreen.

Features

Shotgun Capsule for Colette
Brings shotgun directivity to the Colette series and works with all Colette-series amplifiers, for example the CMC 1, CMC 6 and the digital CMD 42.

High Directivity, Low Coloration
Derived from the CMIT series, it combines high directivity with low coloration of sound arriving from the sides.

Same Sound as CMIT 5 and MiniCMIT
Acoustical characteristics are identical, so the KMIT, CMIT 5 and MiniCMIT can be interchanged without altering the sound.

Built-In Low-Cut Filter
A steep integrated filter at about 70 Hz allows unproblematic use on a boom. The steepest cutoff occurs when a CMC 1 is used.

Immune to Moisture
The capsule is immune to moisture.

Foam Windscreen Included
A W 140 foam windscreen is supplied with the capsule.
