Description

The SCHOEPS Mini-DA42 is a compact AES42 powering box. It powers AES42 digital microphones, especially the SuperCMIT, and converts their output signals to analog.

This allows digital microphones to be used with devices that only offer analog or AES3 inputs. The inputs and outputs are reached through a Sub-D breakout cable to XLR connectors, and all connectors are on the front side.

Two LEDs show the state of the box: green for power, and red for "unlocked", which turns off once a digital microphone is connected and the circuitry locks on to its signal. The box is supplied with an AC adapter, and other AC adapters or batteries can also be used.

Breakout Cable
A Sub-D breakout cable to four XLR connectors is included, and all connectors are on the front side.

Status LEDs
A green LED shows power, and a red LED for "unlocked" turns off when the box locks on to a connected digital microphone.

Flexible Power
It runs from the included AC adapter, and other AC adapters or batteries can also be used.
