Originally available only on higher-end 6-, 7-, and 8-Series recorders, MixAssist automatically balances mic levels, attenuating unused inputs to reduce room noise and prevent excessive background buildup.

Perfect for interviews, podcasts, and smaller panel discussions, MixAssist ensures smooth, natural dialogue and cleaner recordings right out of the recorder-minimizing the need for post-production cleanup. The plugin integrates directly with the MixPre-3 II, supporting sample rates of 44.1, 47.952, 48, and 48.048 kHz at 24-bit or 32-bit float resolution for pristine audio quality.
