Adapted from the professional 6-, 7-, and 8-Series recorders, MixAssist automatically manages open mics, reducing room noise and spill by attenuating unused channels while preserving the natural tone of active dialogue.

Perfect for podcasts, interviews, and small panels, MixAssist gives you smoother, more professional mixes directly from the MixPre-6-minimizing the need for extensive post-production. It runs seamlessly on the recorder, supporting sample rates of 44.1, 47.952, 48, and 48.048 kHz at 24-bit or 32-bit float, ensuring high-fidelity sound capture.
