Description

The SCHOEPS MK 4XP is a cardioid microphone capsule for very close speech pickup, directly in front of the speaker's mouth. This version comes in matte gray.

Its strong low-frequency rolloff of -10 dB at 100 Hz is compensated by proximity effect, so the voice stays flat while sound from a greater distance is picked up less strongly. Preferred applications are close speech pickup and public address systems.
