Its beige finish allows for more seamless concealment against light clothing and skin tones, making it an excellent choice for on-camera talent or stage performers where visibility must be minimized. Despite its tiny 3.3 mm capsule, the MKE1 delivers a full, natural sound with high speech intelligibility and low self-noise, thanks to its omnidirectional pickup pattern and carefully tuned frequency response.
This lav mic is built to withstand the rigors of professional use. The Kevlar-reinforced, 1 mm diameter cable resists breakage while reducing handling and surface noise, and a moisture- and sweat-resistant capsule ensures reliable performance under hot stage lights or during extended performances. Designed specifically for Sennheiser EW Series wireless systems with its 3.5 mm (1/8") locking connector, the MKE1 comes complete with thoughtful accessories including a mic clip (MZQ222), two frequency response caps, make-up protection caps, and a storage pouch for transport.
