Description

The Woolly Mammoth Cable MM2552 XLR-XLR is a balanced microphone cable made with Mogami W2552 cable and genuine Neutrik NC3FXX female and NC3MXX male 3-pin XLR connectors. The Mogami W2552 combines a compact profile with an extremely flexible rubber-like PVC jacket that resists abrasion and rough handling. Its XLPE insulation helps minimize heat shrinkage during soldering, supporting a clean, durable assembly for studio, stage, broadcast, audio/visual, and industrial audio applications.

The Neutrik XX Series connectors use rugged nickel-plated zinc diecast shells with silver-plated contacts and improved chuck-style strain relief for greater cable retention and protection against bending stress. The NC3FXX adds a solid metal latch, a solder barrier, and additional ground spring contacts for improved shell-ground continuity, while the NC3MXX features an improved locking recess designed for increased housing durability. Both connectors are rated for more than 1,000 mating cycles, providing a dependable XLR-to-XLR connection for microphones, mixers, audio interfaces, stage boxes, and other compatible professional audio equipment.
