The MX412S/N Microflex Standard Gooseneck Microphone from Shure is a professional speech microphone designed for installed sound applications where clear communication and flexible microphone configuration are essential. Featuring a 12-inch dual-flex gooseneck, it allows precise positioning for presenters, meeting participants, and speakers while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance. Its compact design makes it well suited for conference rooms, boardrooms, lecterns, courtrooms, houses of worship, and educational environments.
Unlike fixed-capsule models, the MX412S/N is supplied without a microphone cartridge, allowing users to select the interchangeable Microflex capsule that best matches the acoustic requirements of their installation. Compatible cardioid, supercardioid, and omnidirectional capsules provide the flexibility to tailor coverage and speech pickup to a variety of room layouts and applications. The microphone also features a convenient mute switch with an LED status indicator, giving users clear visual feedback and straightforward control during meetings and presentations.
Designed for reliable long-term installation, the MX412S/N includes an integrated preamp and desktop mounting solution with a bottom cable exit for a neat, professional appearance. An internal shock mount helps minimize vibration and handling noise, while the included windscreen reduces breath noise and plosives for improved speech intelligibility.
