Description

The Schoeps String Quartet Orchestra Set is a plug and play set that can mike a small ensemble completely. It consists of 4 microphones with Schoeps stand arrangements, and it reflects an approach to miking that Schoeps customers have applied for a long time for hundreds of orchestras worldwide.

The set is sized for 2 violins, 1 viola and 1 'cello. Each microphone pairs an MK 4 cardioid capsule with a miniature CMC 1 L amplifier, the variant of the CMC 1 U with a miniature Lemo output connector.

Cardioid MK 4 Capsules
Each microphone uses an MK 4, the best-selling Schoeps capsule, with a cardioid pattern that stays consistent across frequencies and suits acoustic instruments.

Compact CMC 1 Amplifiers
Each microphone uses a miniature CMC 1 amplifier, about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6.

Standard Phantom Powering
The CMC 1 works with standard 12-Volt or 48-Volt phantom powering, and the Schoeps RFI Shield gives very high immunity from RF interference.

Lemo Output Connector
The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 U with a miniature Lemo output connector.

Extra Support Rod
The additional STR vertical support rod in the set helps with flexible setup.

Support Rods, Extension Tubes and Floor Bases
The set includes STR vertical support rods, RC active extension tubes and 4 BF 250 weighted floor bases for the stand arrangements.
